Cafe Amara sits on Level 1 of Amara Hotel in Subashnagar — the quiet floor between a hotel lobby and Telugu Theory upstairs. We opened it because Nizamabad had plenty of places to eat and almost nowhere to sit with a properly pulled coffee.

Small roaster. Fresh beans weekly. Filter coffee made the way it is at home, in a steel tumbler. Waffles pressed when you order them, never before. And a menu short enough that we can stand behind every line on it.
